Default 2005 S60 Driver side window switch

Hello. I am new here. I bought a used 2005 S60 2.5T AWD a year ago. Love this car. I have had an interesting problem with the driver side window switch. It stopped working in the "up" position.

But, it started working again after I had an oil change and the equivalent of "service engine soon" was cleared off that info screen. Sorry, I can't remember exactly what the screen said.

So, I had been getting the message for just under 5000 miles. When it cut out, I came here to find answers but had not found this one. I was starting to test the switch and I can say that in the dead of night, all quiet, I could hear a click when I pulled up on the switch, but nothing when I pushed down.

All the other windows worked. I understand the windows are hooked up to the computer, so just maybe is this a function to get you to a dealership for service?

I also used the Union 76 synthetic blend 10W-30 and is it ever running more smoothly.

Good luck with yours.

Curious what this could be. Have you tried asking on Swedespeed yet?
If you go to a dealer, there are some great ones in the PNW and some not so great ones. I might be able to point you in the direction of a quality tech depending where you're at.
