Unhappy 2005 s60 parking brake adjust?

How do you adjust the parking brake on a 2005 S60? Engages fine, just isn't full on until the lever is almost all the way up.

Thanks

Anyone able to advise?

Yes, pull the boot up over the handle, not all the way. There will be a little cover that swings open, may be white in color, there you will see a nut, use a 10mm deep socket or whatever works. Tighten. 5-clicks on e-brake to full engage is good.

I'd recommend checking the parking brake shoes inside the rear rotors, just to make sure you are not riding it metal on metal. I still have to check mine, thanks for the reminder.
If someone (like your wife) drove it with parking brake on, you know the result

Thanks for the feedback guys. I appreciate it. This is my first S60 plus it's a 5 spd, my old V70 was an automatic, never really used the parking brake.
