2005 volo s60 2.5 turbo
So i picked a 2005 volo s60 2.5 turbo up last week the turbo worked perfectly infact i could still hear it over a big excust leak.it looked like the 90 degree piece was cracked that bolted to that piece that one side goes goes to the turbo and the other side bolts to the exchust flange. The back yard mechanic broke the bolts off so he had to remove the piece that goes to the turbo and exchust and drill the bolts out, I was pissed off and got the car back together because he broke a wire in the o2 sensor ( I have another to put in) he broke the donut flange for the exhaust, so it still leaks, he stepped on the upper pcv hose right next to the oil cap I already replaced when I got home. Driving home the turbo wasn't working at all so when I got home I used a basic scan tool and code p0243 witch comes up as Turbocharger/Supercharger Wastegate Solenoid A and says the turbo wastegate actuator witch is the piece that has a long arm that tells the boost to work. the other code is the p2 sensor . Driving it right now it will have a delayed throttle because the turbo is off. I read online that the turbo wastegate actuator needs a vacuum pressure of 4.4 psi is it possible that the vacuum got let out because when taken that part off I know for sure he had the coder pin out that holds the other side in and he also completely unscrewed the big nut that goes inside it that's attack to narrow mental tube, would the vacuum be let out?. It's ether that or he broke the turbo wastegate actuator because right now it doesnt move, I Asli read online that if you over tighten the turbo clamp that it could cause it not to work . This is the first volo I had and it's frustrating because I am a plumber who started his own thing and just bought it to use until I can get a van and just bought this volo because the motor went it something else . Does anyone have any idea or knows if it's possible that the vacuum was realized because a new turbo wastegate actuator is not cheap 200/400 but if it's broke ill have to get it or if tighten the turbo clamp to much would be the issue Driving down the road the acceleration is way off and barely has pick up and coughs and shudders because the 02 sensor and the turbo being off there are only 2 codes on it p0243 and p0036 The part that was removed to have the hokes drilled out is attached thats goes to the exchust and the turbo
