2005 Volvo S6 - Parking Sensor, Stereo and Cigarette Lighter socket powerless
Hello, I firstly want to apologise if this has been covered before but no matter what thread/solution I find, I can't seem to fix my problem and I really hope you can help me.
To describe my problem, I was experiencing some issues with my stereo and cigaratte ligther fuse. It would stop working all of a sudden and then a few days later it would power on again but fast forward a few weeks later, it's completely dead now
and I have seen a thread that fuse #11 under the dash should help changing but it didn't help.
I just went and bought a big box with all kinds of fuses but I honestly don't know which ones to change as there are so many with the same name and my ADHD kicks in really hard so I'm really hoping you guys have some suggestions that I can try and hopefully solve my issue.
And apologies if my English is bad and I haven't explained well enough (English is not my 1st language).
Anyway, thank you for reading this far if that's all you will do
Many thanks!

Fuse #28 (5Amp) in that same fuse box is for the audio, you can try inspecting that fuse for function. For your Cigarette lighter socket, the connectors could be loose or experiencing some corrosion. I remember from being back there numerous times on my S60, that the connectors on the cig socket are quite loose and sloppy. If you need to get back there, you must always disconnect the battery to avoid issues and be safe. Other than a head unit (radio) going bad, I don't know why your radio would do that.

I did however realise that I forgot to say that my parking sensor are also not working anymore. I included it in the title but didn't write anything about it.
Also, the stereo and the cig socket both stopped and started working at the same time, which is odd, isn't it?
Thank again for trying to help me. I will let you know how when I change that fuse. I'm working tomorrow so it might have to wait until Saturday, either way, I will report back on how it goes

If you use that link and go to 2005 it will show you all the fuses and locations.
There is another audio fuse located in the fuse box right as you open the driver door. Also the parking sensor fuse is in the trunk.
Fuses are always a great place to start. A scan of all the modules would be an ideal next step to see if there are any codes stored that relate to your issues.

If your fuse keeps blowing, it is possible your cigarette outlet keeps shorting out. If you are using it as a power outlet, plug your accessory BEFORE staring the engine and unplug it after you shut it down. It could help.
