Default 2006 s60 2.5t posablie buying

Hello everyone I am going to look at a 2006 s60 is their any thing that I should be looking for ? Is this model one I should stay clear of are they reliable ??? I will be commuting over 100 miles a day and don't need another vehicle that I will be dumping money into and leaving me stranded on the side of the road. Thanks for any input Paul

They are reliable. But it's 15 years old. So a lot depends on how it has been taken care of up until now.

I would expect the 2006 s60 to be as reliable as the other Volvos you have posted about - the 2002 v70 with a blown motor you purchased and a 2001 s80. You posted questions on a wide variety of problems - bad instrument cluster, srs light comes on for a weird reason (they don't normally come on because the battery goes dead or you replace a light bulb), low oil pressure you had with the oil pan off, replacing a bad engine.

So you are used to the never ending list of stuff that can and does go wrong on European cars.

If you want reliability and a much smaller list of stuff that goes wrong unfortunately you will need to buy a Toyota. (nissan/infiniti/lexus/ - honda/etc)
