Hi everyone,

I have a 2006 S60 2.5T that just had the check engine light illuminate, I scanned the car for codes and got the following codes:

B0301
B0701

I've looked online to find information about these 2 codes but have had no luck. Have any of you run across these codes before and know what they mean?

P0301 misfire cyk #1
P0701 transmission range issue

 

Yes, I am sure, I have checked the codes on line and found the info on the P codes but cannot find any info on the B codes. I also checked the car for a misfire with the code reader and there was no misfire reported while the engine was running in either idle, during acceleration and acceleration with a load (w/ AC on). I imagine the B codes are something specific to Volvo OBDII systems and was hoping that someone in this forum had run into B codes previously.
