Hi All.. just curious, my 2 month old 07 2.5t is getting WORSE milage than my BMW SUV. Something just doesn't seem right. is 15MPG city really what I should be getting? I've not broken 1,000 miles yet, so hopefully, that is all it is.

Tell us about your drive. Do you have a short commute and do not get up to highway speeds? That could cause it.

 

2007 miles per gallon - i think that is pretty good

we used to have a xc90 and the mileage considerably jumped to the better at around 2000 miles.

Yes, it's all of 2.5 miles on city streets, my avg. MPH according to the trip computer is 16. even still, shouldn't it be better than a 4WD 3.0 260HP inline-6 bmw engine?! It's avg. less than 225 miles per tank of gas. I know the commute is part of the problem, but still!
