The manual says its an H7 bulb but sylvania.com is saying it an H11. What one do I need. The car is a 2008 s60 2.5t fwd and doesn't have the factory HIDs option.

I'd go with the H7 like the manual says. If you really want to be sure, take the bulb out and take it into the store with you.

 

well I ended up pulling the bulb and its an H11. So much for the manual. Can't believe no else has changed a light buld on an 08 s60.
Or no one reads this forum.

 

Well, what do you know. Lol. Glad you pulled the bulb. Is it the fogs that are the H7 then?
I have the factory HID's in my S60R and I haven't had to change them out yet.
This is a cool forum but there's more traffic on swedespeed.

 

have you tried to put HID fog lights on your 08? I just put the high and low beams in which are H11 but the fogs are not the same size

 

I'm thinking theres a typo in the manual. In mine its says the fog lights are H11, the high beams are HB3 and low beams are H7.
I bet the fog light are H7.

Maybe they started changing designs mid year? I have to pull my foglight bulbs and see. I'm installing an HID kit and had to send the bulbs back for the low beam because I ordered what the manual stated. Gonna be alittle upset if I have to send the fog lights back also.

 

Yeah i had to send my fog lights back because they are not H11. The website i ordered them from said they are H11 but my fogs are small and have a flat end near the plug so they definetly are not H11

 

figures. From what I've been reading the fog lights are H1. Is that what you ended up getting?

 

I haven't ordered any HIDs for the fogs yet because I can't find what size they are. A little annoying that the information in the manuel is misleading.
