2011 S60 T6 Starts then dies
Hi all, I have a 2011 S60 T6 (RHD) 140,000kms. I had a full service done just over a week ago, new plugs and a new battery. Car was driving fine until I left it for a few days, now it starts, sometimes for a second, sometimes for 10 seconds, then cuts out and throws up loads of errors, from Immobiliser to brake issues etc. I need to disconnect and reconnect the battery to be able to start it again, at which time it just does the same thing and cuts out.
Battery voltage is a bit low at around 12.3v but even with a jump starter it does the same thing. I'm getting the same battery reading on either side of the battery fuses so don't think it's those. Continuity is fine on the battery cables I can get to. Any ideas? I live rurally so really don't want to get it towed to the nearest trusted garage.
UPDATE ALL WORKING
went and got a new battery for the remote just in case it was the immobiliser not picking it up. Put new battery in the remote, reconnected the car battery and it worked. I can only guess that the remote battery died completely and without being able to lock and unlock the car the immobiliser tripped and wouldn't reset.
