Default 2012 volvo s60 t6 rdesign maintenance?

I'm looking at getting a 2012 volvo s60 t6 r design but it has 117k miles on it. I read somewhere that the timing belt needs to be replace at 120k. I can't remember where I read it at. Is there any large maintenance like that I need to be worried about? Can I do a timing belt myself? I own an 03 ford focus with a 2.3l 4 banger so these engines would be new to me. Thanks in advance.

An R design doesn't have a timing belt it has a chain like all T6's. The R design I was looking at had a rough idle probably because of something with the PCV. You should be able to hear a whooshing sound if there's something going on with that. Other than that oil burning would be something to look out for especially with 2012s. Don't buy anything with a red dipstick. You're better off just getting a regular S60 like I did as an R design with 120k will be $2-3k more. A tune and a stiffer suspension isn't really worth it. You won't notice the difference and R designs are kind of pointless because if you're that concerned about performance you want something that is RWD, with a better weight distribution, direct injection, more boost. S60s purposely don't have that stuff to be more reliable and practical. An S60 falls into the market of a nice reliable AWD luxury car that is fast without even trying and without compromising reliability.
