Hi All,
I have a S60 2013 D4 summum model.
Car Driver- 14447 kilometers.
There are 2 bulges on front driver side tyre. Conti refuse to give warranty on OEM tyres.. **ujbhr***
Tyre size 215/50/ r17 95w. Since this size isn't available in India on continental dealerships.
I want to know if I buy 2 new tyres 225/50/17 conti5. Will that be ok? Will it affect my cars braking or shockers in anyway? Please suggest. Thanks.

First, let me state everything I write below is pure speculation.
From your picture, it appears that you might have hit the sidewall against something; the wheel rim is scuffed. I suspect that's the reason the warranty is not being honored.
If your car is not AWD, you could possibly get away with mismatched tires on front and back. However, this will create issues relative to tire rotation eventually. For that reason, I wouldn't do it. Are you sure you can't find any way to get the same tires as what you're replacing?
If your car is AWD, you have to have the same size tire all around. (At least, that's my experience from BMW...)
OTOH, having recently replaced the original Contis on my 2013 S60 (T5), I'd highly recommending getting rid of all of your Contis. Replace all four of those tires with something better! (I have a different size tire, so it could be that your tires are not as horrible as my OEMs were... but mine were really bad; wore out before 20K miles!)

Assuming that you got the car from a Volvo dealer are they not able to get replacement tires of the same make and size?
If you can not get the same make and model of tire then get two of another make in the correct size. Your idea of going to a 225 from a 215 will cause issues.
