2014 S60 dealer said cannot communicate with car
So the car is a 2014 s60 it has 6000 miles. I bought it for my wife damaged and put two right side doors on it in my our shop. I have put about 800 miles on it and took it to the dealer since the navigation would not seem to recognize my exact whereabouts and the keyfob did not react to the car at all. i told the dealer to check the alignment and address these other issues. They had it for 5 days and then called me to say they give up and there is nothing that they can do since they cannot get their scan tool to communicate with it. They told me they had 4 pages of DTCs from it. Which I have to wonder if you could not communicate how did you pull the DTCs. We had the interior out to do the repair on the car and my first guess is that there is something not plugged in correctly. I will check it out tomorrow when I get the car back. Any thoughts?????

It all depends on what module they are trying to communicate with. They probably gave it back to you because you're the one that performed all of the repairs because it is no longer warranty and it sounds like a very costly fix. Go back and make sure everything is connected and see if that helps.

No warning lights, but a lot of codes. During your repair did you have the battery disconnected? If they can read the codes, they should have been able to send a clear command to clear them. I do not know why they would not have done this to see what flips first.
Along with the connectors, check your grounds and condition of your battery and alternator along with their connections. Unstable electric power can flip communication errors.
