So I picked up a 2016 Volvo v60 that had super light damage to the LF corner, didn't even hit the crash bar but clipped the crash sensor and set the bags off. I've replaced airbags before and I have the proper scan tool to reset all of the SRS but I just want to double check before I put a new dashboard in and find out I have to take it back out or something (first volvo I've done airbags on). Besides changing all deployed airbags, crash sensor and resetting the SRS module is there anything else that needs to be replaced? I was working on a Mercedes that had the bags deployed and it ended up needing the actual SRS modules replaced along with the bags. I've searched a bit on this forum and I'm pretty sure that is all that is required but I just want to double check so sorry if this is something of a repost.
Hi. Are you in US?
I bought a 2013 S60 with light front damage that I need an engine out of. Airbags did not deploy. If you can check that 2013 VS 2016 are compatible, I can offer you everything you may need for your project including modules, etc.
