3rd S60
In the next couple weeks I'll be the owner of my third S60. Some might say I have a boring taste, but i love the S60 the only thing I ever quench for is more power. So I'm going to Atlanta to look at 2 S60R's and a few T5's. Let the fun begin.
I, too, have a brace of 3 S60's. So, I understand your passion. However, I've just moved from a house with a large garage to a condo that only offers 1 parking spot. I'm going to have to pass 2 of the cars on to new owners. I will keep the T5 and I've been looking at an R. I've also begun to consider a Jag XK8 as a spare vehicle. I think I need some more parking spots!
Nah, your taste ain't boring. You may have a fixation, like me. I call it a hobby.
Hmmmm.....
Good luck with the hunt. Chasing a new vehicle is always fun and informative.

My only mod would be an intercooler the size of a small country(thats to be read as 31x9x3) to get rid of the tiny ones on these P2 Turbo volvo's have. Build my own intake and later in the future possibly down pipe, exhaust, computer upgrade. But i have a friend with the ability to change the current ECU.
Well it will be about 90 bucks for the intercooler and tubing to hook it up. If I decide to build a down pipe and exhaust I can't see that costing more than 300. The price of building my own intake, maybe 120 bucks, with filters. ECU tinkering will come for free until it gets to the point where stock boundaries are unpushable, then that will be like 800. So what 1400 bucks over the course of a year, not bad. My fiancee is already hassling me about the time and money I spent on the 242. This weekend I'm putting up on blocks in the garage to redo the motor, interior, and get the car ready for repaint. But she doesn't know that yet, so, shhhhhh.
