Ac/heater blower runs when engine is off
I also thought that this could be normal so I waited 1 hour...still running. So I pulled the fuse (so my battery doesn't die) and waited 3 hours, put the fuse back in with the car still off and the blower fired right up as soon as I plugged the fuse in. It will not stop running???
I've got the same problem happening right now with my 1996 850
I turned the car on and off several times, left it running for 30mins then pulled the fuse.
Where should I start looking for source of the problem?

Okay, I have been playing the game of pulling the fuse for about two months now. I think it's time to finally figure this out....where is the resistor on my 04'? Is it part of the blower?
Thanks, Mark

My 2004 S60 AC comes on when the engine is off and the keys are in my pocket. I know it's normal to have a short on time to dry out the AC lines, but mine sometimes goes for an hour or more. It usually does this after I have left the car and its vicinity, thus draining my battery. It is sporadic. It seems to happen more in the summer. Does this still sound like the blower motor resistor?

It can take sometime. It can be annoying. It has to dry the evaporator. A volvo dealer can disable this for you.
