Adding Heated Seats to S60 Impossible . . .
. . . or at least that's what Galpin Volvo and a very well-respected independent Volvo mechanic in L.A. just told me. Yet, I see lots of posts on these boards about how it is possible.
So has anyone out there actually done it and lived to tell the tale?

its not impossible, but costly and cumbersome.
you'll need to get a set of heated front seats, with their memory/heater module attached.
If your car does not have a power seat on the drivers side now , then the car is not prewired for power/heated seats. you are out of luck.
then you'll need to get the buttons for the heated seats for the climate control module, then you'll need the dealer to activate the heated seats function,
you see it gets costly.

It's frustrating -- been shopping for weeks now and I'll find the right car at a good price, but no heated seats. Or, it will have heated seats, but too many miles. Not many of these S60's around! I used to be ambivalent about them, but my wife liked them so I have been hunting, and now I can't rest until I get one!
We have plenty of Vehicles in this area with heated seats. Real Reputable Dealer here in town. Ive done business with them for years. We do have snow here, but the folks here do take great care of theyre cars. I can get you in touch with someone from my local dealership here in Nebraska, who can give you call and help you. I love my S60 with heated seats
Its not impossible, but downright expensive. Youll pay more than you will to just trade in and get something else!
