I have a 2001 S60 2.4T that has started to cause the air conditioner while in Park with engine running the Air will get warm. If I turn off the enghine and restart all seems fine. In Drive I don't seem to have a problem, It is very cool. Is this some kind of VOLVO feature I am not familiar with. If not what do you think the problem is?

 

Did you ever figure this out? Mine is doing the same thing!!

 

I have the same problem, only mine does it while driving or parked and after a while, will start working again. I was told that the compressor, OEM receiver dryer and orifice tube need to be replaced. Parts & labor = $1,000. Did you find out what was wrong with yours?
