Default Any tire reccomendations for $100 a tire? and need help with wheel spacers

Looking for some summer tires. have some great winter tires on my car right now but i want to get them off because i want to keep the tread on them. I have been looking for some tires and i have it down to the goodyear Eagle GT's which i can get for $111 shipped to my door online. Also, i was thinking of staying with a 235/45 17 but i know i would need some wheel spacers on the front. Would something like this be large enough to stop the rubbing and are these spacers ok?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/5mm-3...spagenameZWDVW

I didnt know if i needed hub centric spacers if im only going 5mm in the front, or if i need to get hub centric ones. and is it ok only to do it in the front and not the back or will that mess up handling and control of the car?

thanks, Ryan

I am a fan of Kuhmo Ecstas! Usually between 60-80 bucks. They have an agressive tread pattern and super grippy!

Going from 45 aspect ratio to 40 will cut down the overall diameter of the tire, so you might not even need the spacers if you do that. But you ride will likely suffer slightly with a smaller sidewall. Personally, I'm not a fan of spacers and would just not turning the wheel to lock.

I'm with S60 R on this one....... You might not like the ride quality on a 40 series since it has barely a side wall. I have had 40 series on my old Eclipse and hated the fact that every little bump was felt thru the wheel on suspension. so when I got my Volans, I made sure to get 45's...I know it costs a little more but that's the price you pay to play! Good luck man, with whatever you decide.

Always use hub centric spacers if that is the route you plan on following!

Thanks for the advice guyds. I think im going with 235/45 and when i get the money ill get some wheel spacers. I think for now, i just wont turn my wheel all the way and that way it wont rub.
