by murder out, you mean black headlights/tail lights/tints/black alloys?


im thinking of doing the lights and rims...no tint..

 

I'm talking about doing the flat black paint also known as matte black or satin black,commonly known as "murdering out" the car. My paint job is not the best and it has the ugly plastic trim that I hate. I have a friend of a friend that said they'd do it cheap and they have a reputable shop, supposedly. I think I'll check it out, but it's like 4 hours away, so I'd want to see the operation before I schedule the appointment.

Also, it looks better if you get the smoke lenses for headlights and tail and do black alloy rims. That's going to be the expensive part!

 

There are other ways to get smoked lenses for the front and the rear of a car and still use what you have and not be that expensive. Some bodyshopsOR custom shopscan smoke those for a fraction of the price of buying new ones already done. you just have to call around and see whom does that work where u live!

 

Do they paint the lenses? Is it some sort of chemical treatment? Hmmm.. Maybe the paint shop I'm taking it to will do it.

My windows are already tinted dark since the car was sold new in Scottsdale AZ.

On the quick reply window, hit "Go advanced" and a window will pop open that says something like "Manage files". Open that and you will see the Jpeg download area.
