Back up lights not working
Yes, all the other lights are working properly. I couldn't find a fuse for just those lights. I know in other vehicles I've owned, there were fuses for that. It's really strange both are out. Could it be some relay in the tranny or shifter that won't send the signal to the lights?
I did check the fuses in the trunk as well. I can't even find one that is labeled for the lights. Is that sensor you mentioned hard to check or replace? Thanks for your help. Just trying to stay away from the money hungry service shop.
For me the sensor isn't that hard to replace becasue I have done many of them.
It really isn't that bad.Look under the hood and find where the shifter cable mounts to the trans. The sensor slides on the shaft and bolts to the trans.
I don't have a wiring diagram to tell you the wires to check for signal.
