Battery for S60
Hi,
My original battery in my 2009 S60 2.5T SE lasted only two years.
Replaced with a Walmart battery, as I was close by when it failed.
Now after 2 years and 1 week that battery is beginning to fail.
Went to Walmart for replacement and they tested the battery and said it was fine, just needed to be charged.
Went to Advance Auto Parts and they ran a battery test, starter test and charging system test. Scanned image of test results is attached.
The charging test says "NO PROBLEMS" as well as "CHARGING SYSTEM OUTPUT TEST NORMAL". However, the Advance Auto parts guy pointed out that he thought the RIPPLE graph was too bumpy and may indicate an alternator issue.
So what do you guys think? Two years for now two batteries is not very long.

Lots of help huh? I can't find anything on my "01" S60’s Alternator issue either - we got a N/A non turbo Automatic trans FWD. Were kinda the red headed steps I guess?
Always seems to happen at the worst time too, guess I’m a bit frustrated right now.

Shouldnt your alternator be putting out about 14.5 volts to keep the battery topped up.
Volvo's and their electronics/computer etc place high demands on the battery.
Check the alternators output with a multimeter.
