hello everyone, this is my first post.
i've had this problem for a couple of weeks now, and i've seen a similar question posted a couple of months back, with no answer.
so, most of the time now, the blower speed selector in the dashboard seems non-responsive. i turn it, the green lights turn on, as if the speed is increasing/decreasing. but the blower motor seems to be moving at the same speed. i can select up/middle/feet positions with no problem. and the temp regulator works to (warm/cold air blowing when needed). stupid problem to have, i know, but how do i fix it? it's getting cold in chicago, and the slow speed of the blower won't do much...
p.s. after i shut off the ignition AND get the key out of the ignition, the blower motor won't seem to stop. please help!

hello,
I just got through fixing this problem. The dealer attempted to solve it with a software update for the climate control system, this did not work, so I installed a new sensor. The part number for this is pn#869166. This worked, hopefully you do not need to replace the whole module that will be expensive.
Also be carefull regarding when you turn the ignition off, the fuse for the cc system is 30 amps and wears your battery down fast. YOu might want to pull it out when you are parked. It is easily accessible on the driver side, left of the steering wheel when you open the door.
Hope this helps you out.
