Do you know if the S60 have a light on the controls that will light up when your brake pads are becomming too thin and time for replacement? Thanks for your help. Car is a 2003 s60 2.4T.

No you have to keep an eye on them.
The best rule of thumb have them checked every oil change.

Solid advice from tech.

Your dealer would be happy to check your pads and rotors for you, most of the time, free of charge. Pads should be changed when they reach 3mm, this is for the front and rear. Rotors are according to spec which is printed on the rotor.
