I have a message in the Text Window asof my S60 asfollows: "Bulb Failure Position Light". Where is the bulb that this alert is refering to?

 

It is usually one of the rear taillight bulbs.

 

Mine has been on for a long time. I replaced the license plate lights but can't seem to locate the one that is still, apparently, tripping the error message...

as stated before its usually the parking side lights. The parking rear cluster has two bulbs in it , check the bulbs to see which one is blown.
just take the holder out and physically check them. i had the same changed alot of bulbs and eventually the parking side light. Its also a good idea
to change the pair for same polarity and resistance.

mine ended up being the fuse for the front head lamp.
