bulb failure position light

RE: bulb failure position light
In my experience, it's always been a bulb in the tail light - usually on the right side, center bulb in the lower clip (there are two clips, one high with two bulbs and one low with three). I've been through 3-4 bulbs there in the past year. Lots of bulbs to check, though!

I have over 120K miles in a s60 and they will wear you out with the position light. As a previous poster stated, it is almost always the rear red marker light. It is easy to check.Just wonder around the car and see which one it is. Oh, when you buy a replacement, buy three or four or maybe even five.

RE: bulb failure position light
There are 3 position lights on each side (as far as I know)
1 in the front on each side, its the same bulb as the blinker and 2 in the back, there the 2 small 5w bulbs top and bottom in the middle of the top light bracket.
Right now, none of my right side bulbs are working (something other than a bulb burned out)
