I am looking at buying a 2001 s60 T5 with a manual transmission. Is there anything i should specifically look for with this car. I only did research about the S40's but came across this one and really like it.
I know the automatics can be problematic but havent heard much on the Manuals for volvo.

ETM's and ABS modules can be troublesome as the Auto trans as you mentioned.

If you talk to anyone who knows Volvo's 2001-2002 are the model years to stay away from. But some owners have had good luck with them.

Have the front suspension looked at and better yet, have a mechanic inspect it before you buy.

 

The deal ended up falling through so i guess no need to worry about the problems anymore.
