Default Buying an 07 XC70--have a few random questions

Hi all, we are considering purchasing our first Volvo: A 2007 XC70 with 9k miles on it. It's a Carmax car, and appears to be a rental return from Hertz Prestige Collection (according to a document left in the glove box ). Anyway, we really like the car, and are excited to be joining the Volvo family (it was either this or a Saab SportCombi, and thank goodness I got my way!).

I have some questions, and forgive me if they have already been addressed.
1) There is an AUX-in in the center console. I plugged the ipod into it and, low and behold, it actually works! This is a relief given what I have read about how much of a pain it is to connect an ipod. This connection appears to give us full control of the ipod, but doesn't charge it. Do you know if there is a, ipod connection that will connect to the AUX and charge?
2) Any opinions on the best bike rack to attach to the existing roof rails? I'm pretty short and would like something similar to Saab's Bike Carrier w/ Lift. Anything for Volvo?
3) Best place for genuine Volvo accessories?
4) Can the HU-650 headunit be equipped with satellite radio?
5) With our VW GLI, we can hook up our laptop to the car's computer (through a "vag com" cable and software) and edit some hidden features of the car, such as the DRLs, car-locking, etc. Does anything like that exist for the Volvo?

OK, that's all I have for now. I think the only things we will want to do to the car are add the roof bike rack, add sat radio, and perhaps upgrade to the 17" wheels.

Thanks, I'm glad to be here!
Chris

18 views and no replies? Okaaayy, well we purchased the car today and so far we really enjoy it. It will be a welcome addition to the family and I look forward to perhaps contributing more to this forum.
