I need some help. I replaced the timing belt of my 2002 S60. I marked both camshafts and the crankshaft in their current positions, then removed the old belt. After replacing the belt, I had to turn the crankshaft to take up some of the slack and as a resut, after i turned the cranksahft two complete revolutions, and now if I line of the crankshaft marking, the camshaft positions are off 1 tooth(-1) and if I line up the camshaft marking, then the crankshaft is off 1 tooth (+1). I believe the issue was in taking up the slack, my question is how do I get these marks to now line up correctly as it would appear that no matter what i do, one of these is going to be off? Is there some procedure I can do to get these marks to line up correctly?

I'm surprised you're asking this as you've already done the TB job. There's no procedure other than to remove and replace the timing belt correctly. If this were my car I'd put the crank on the timing mark then lock the cam pulleys with this tool. Loosen the tensioner then carefully jockey the belt off both cam pulleys and then replace it back on the cam pulleys one tooth advanced (or retarded, whatever).
