My girlfriend was given a 1998 S70 and I noticed that something is missing. Looks like it goes from the air intake box to the exhaust. Her car sounds like it has a huge fart can muffler and I'm hoping whatever this part fixes that. I searched online and have seen a picture of the part but can't find a part name or #.

For some reason I thought I already posted to you on this. It's a aluminum tube. No real big deal unless it gets cold where you are. It's used to pre-heat the air box when temps are low, stops the MAF from icing up and what not.
