Default Carpet Pulling Away From Molding - Fix?

Hello everyone!
Im hoping that someone can tell me how to fix this carpet issue that I have....

On the passenger side floor, on the right (door)side, the carpet is pulling/pulls away from the molding. We can always tuck it back under the molding but, whenever someone gets in, and their shoe drags on it, it pulls right back out.

Does anyone have any suggestions (short of duct tape) on how to keep it firmly under the molding?

Im willing to go the duct tape route, if only to keep the problem from getting worse, if I have to.

Thanks!

You could turn it back and use some spray adhesive and see if that keeps it in place.

If not try a small screw.

I have the same problem on an '02, S-60. Apparently they cut the carpet too small. I've been thinking about hot glue, but haven't gotten around to it. Maybe this weekend.

It ocurs to me that a screw would have to have a washer or something attached on the end of it (on the underside) to keep the carpet from pulling off.....?
Is there a way to lift the door jam molding so that I could do the screw method to attach the carpet, and then reinstal the molding with the carpet intact?

Don't see why you couldn't unless there is not enough play in the carpet to allow you to stretch it far enough to have the sill plate hold it.

You will have to pull straight back on the molding by the dash.
One clip holds it in there.
Some times the clip will break.
