Just purchased a new S60 2 months ago. Within the 1st week the check engine light came on. Took it to the dealer, they could not find a fault code so they cleared it and sent me on my way. Well it has happened 2 more times... they keep resetting my computer and say no fault shows up. It is starting to **** me off, it's a 250 mile round trip to the dealer each time to have them clear the code but inform me nothing is wrong with the car and yes the gas lid is closed tight after every fill up. What might you guys suggest the problem is?

Did they ever tell you the codes they pulled?

Look on the receipt and see if they are on there.

Is the codes if you have the ECM-4308, or 4338?

 

Hey Tech,

The codes on the work order are ECM-430C and ECM-436B. Leakage detection unit ran and no faults found. Eraced codes and all works as designed. So this has happened 3 times and they still cant find a problem??? What do you think Tech?

I will have to wait till Monday to look the codes up unless someone on here has an Alldata subscription.
Then I can let you know more form there.

 

if you really want to get their attention....be like lemon law!.....thats wud i would do..
