cost for s60 front end work
I've had a low frequency rattle up front for some time ('02 S60, 85K miles) and heavy tread wear on inside of front tires. Just received and estimate for replacing the front & rear lower bushings on the control arm & stabilizer links for $860. Is this in line??
Thanks for your help!

It is if the complete control arms are being replaced with O.E.M. Volvo units. Get a new set from fcpgroton.com for about $125.00 per side and about an hour labor per side for install at any competent garage. Don't justreplace the bushing. There is no savings because you spend an extra 2 hours in labor to press them out and back in.

Nothing thatI could see or notice. Aftermarket arms are made in China, Volvo parts somewere inan Eastern European sweatshop. Your original Volvo parts were junk (they should have lasted the life of the car and then some)so how much worse can the the Chinese ones be? The Chinese are excact copies and mine have been installed for about 10000 miles without any issues.
