Did anyone ever hear or use "Seafoam"?
The Seafoam I am familiar with is a gasoline treatment that can be poured into a tank of old / stale gas to rejuvenate it. I used recently on my outboard motor gas that had been sitting up all winter and also on my 1/4 tank of gas in my volvo I started to restore recently. It helped to reduce smoking exhaust. I do not think it is really as engine treatment as much as it is a gasoline treatment.
I used to own a 35 year old MGB. MG owners swear by sea foam as a way to clean out the carbon and gunk in the motor and intake system. You can either put it in a tank of gas, of for really dramatic effect, you pour it straight into the carb.
I found that it did improve the running of the engine, but while you do it, you'll produce tons of white smoke.
I doubt though, that it is much use on a well maintained modern engine, such as a volvo s60.

I would be very weary of putting it in the oil of any turbo car and "racing it", just use good quality oil to start with (all full synth oils these days hae excellent detergents in them already)
same goes for the fuel and for that matter putting it into any vacuum hose.
Your Volvo has lots of really expensive parts that could be damaged by something like this
o2 sensors for starters, map sensors, etc.
be afraid.....
