We have a 2004 S60 that the DIM has been intermittently going out. Been reading about it on this forum, thanks for all the info by the way, and was prepared to send it out for repair. Yesterday, when my daughter got home, she said the DIM was out and wanted to show me. In addition to the the DIM being out, I noticed the following:
- both front doors power windows inop
- front drivers power seat inop
- it would not down shift to a lower gear to drive up the slight incline of the driveway

Has anyone else noticed additional things not working while DIM is out? Do I need to dig deeper than a DIM repair?

Once the car was shut down, and restarted, the DIM is back on and everything works as normal.

I appreciate any thoughts on this.
