To take off the side moldings that are half way up the doors? These things are ugly as sin, and I'm thinking I am just gonna paint them. Do they snap? or are they glued?!?!? Thanks for the help!!

There is double sided tape top and bottom along with clips at either end.

Leave em on and apply Forever Black Bumper & Trim Reconditioner. Awesome product that restores them back to original color.

Appears we have the same model/yr car.

The plastic crap around the trunk is the worst. It has like watermarks or something on it, so no matter how clean the car is, it still looks like garbage.

My car's body is sort of crap anyway, lots of dings and scratches from prev owner.

I thought about taking them off, then I started to peel one back, and started thinking, I'd see forever black on IPDUSA.com. I bought that stuff. It worked alright, I think it was a good fix to a crappy problem. I was afraid if I took all the trim off, it wouldn't go back on right. My back bumper looks brand new with that black dye.

over on the s80 forum we pretty much determined that Showroom New black dye is the only thing that can really restore that black trim to a proper shine..

http://showroomnewproducts.com/

I just got my bottle but didnt try it out as yet, the other guys rave about it though
