Default Drain and Fill x3 or Flush?

I have a 2001 2.4T, with 105k, I'm trying to decide if I'll drain and fill or flush the transmissio fluid. Please your feedback if you have actually done either.
Thanks

How does no one have any input about this?

This is not a large forum of active users.

It's preference. I would first insure that the correct message is going out about the correct fluid to use. Only Mobil 3309 should be used. That's a slam dunk. Someone on here is using Amsoil (which will work but is not approved), and others (minority) are uneducated about what Volvo sells since they think (incorrectly) that it is differenct than Mobil 3309 (it's the same people).

I drain and fill because I change my own motor oil too. All I have to do is loosen another drain plug fitting. Almost every four months I add new synthetic motor oil (currently Pennzoil Plat), and then I also add 3.5 quarts of 3309. I have one more drain and fill to do to consume my 3309. Then I am good for quite sometime after that (probably 2 years).

Trans shifts just fine thankyou.
