Hello, I have second hand Volvo S60 2014 T5, everything works as its supposed to, apart from drivers door, which doesnt always lock and takes few tries to lock it self.
Let me explain, I have the the keyless start (dont need to put key in the hole), and I also have the better key fob with the [i] icon.
Now the problem is that when I lock, all doors lock but not the drivers and the car doesnt do the lock sound or flash turn signals, only after few tries it locks with sound and turn signals as indication.
Also, my keyless entry where i just walk up to car and it unlocks also doesnt work everytime (i have the package installed).
I was at local dealership and they told me that the problem may lie in the drivers lock mechanism or the "antennas" or their booster stuff, that are located in back doors, im not really sure about how the antennas could be causing drivers door not to lock or keyless entry fail, but im not a car expert.
Also they gave me a locking mechanism part number, but i cant find it in my country.... (part number: 31449858)
So what I want to ask is, what could be causing my driver door not to lock? And is there a way to diagnose or know what to fix?

 

Any luck fixing this issue? My V60 2017 T5 just started doing this.

 

See which door doesnt lock, and then change the electric lock mechanism on that door.
I changed my driver door lock and now it works perfectly.

 

Hi MikisDid you have to re-program anything? I have the same issue but am worried about changing the lock incase I have to program the key to it?

No I did not have to reprogram it since it was a mechanical issue.
