Default Driver Window falls forward

So about 2 weeks ago on a particularly cold night here in Wisconsin (-7!!) I tried to lower my power window on the driver side and I heard a crack and when the window lowered the front portion of the window kind of fell forward.

Now when I put it back up it kind of settle back into place and rolls up normal.

Attached is a picture of the window after attempting to lower

Thanks!!

There is a plastic block between the window and regulator. They commonly break. But if it has been like that a while and you have used the window alot then most likely the regulator bent.

Is replacing that plastic piece a do-it-yourself job for a novice? Or how much would it cost to get fixed?

I think you should be able to handle it.
It is like 1 to 1.5 hours labor to do it at a shop.
