I have a 2001 S80 and the door bottom door seal on the driver side falls out everytime I bump it as I exit the car. It has become a real headache because it happens all the time. Took it to the dealer and they have no solution. Anyone else have this problem? How did you fix it?

 

Is the seal torn or deformed in any way? If it is, you will need to replace it. If not, maybe you can try using some kind of glue?

 

If it is the one that goes in the top of the rocker panel and is under the bottom of the door.Then here is how you fix it.Remove it all the way.Go and buy some Black or the yellow trim adhesive and put some in the plastic side and on the back of the seal.Let it dry about 5 minutes and then reinstall it and it should hold.

That is what we do at the dealer here all the time.
