Something is up with the drivers door module. When I shut off the motor and exit the vehicle, about 30 seconds later a ticking noise starts to come from the drivers door...around the height of where the door module is. If I stay inside the car and press and hold any PW or PL buttons down, the noise stops. A couple of times the controls have stopped working all together -no window control, no power lock control and the lights in the buttons are off. If I pull the fuse for the module and put it back, all power to the module is restored.

Anyone experience this? I'm starting to think I need to replace the entire module unless someone can tell me if it's serviceable. Any idea how much this part is going to cost at Volvo?

 

What year S60 is it.And I believe there is a vin split for that particular part.I would need the last 6 of your VIN to make sure i get the right price on it.

The weirdest thing is happening now. The window switch for the drivers window will not work but when I press the 'L' button, (normally to adjust the LS power mirror), the drivers window and drivers side rear window both go down at the same time. When I press the 'R' button they go up.

Haven't had time to get it check out yet. I better get to it soon before the break pedal starts to act as throttle and the gas pedal starts to break. lol.
