I have a 1999 s70 awd with a SpeedTuning USA ecu upgrade. I love mine. Great kick in the pants feel.

Everyones gain is going to be different so can't say what you will or wont gain. Assume about 20-30 Hp and the same with Ft-Lb's of Torque.

Also ST USA is good if you don't really plan on more exstensive engine mods. However I would suggest looking into the BSR PPC and the RICA and IPD softloaders that are available. Yeah they are way more exspensive then ST USA, but believe me they are a whole hell of a lot better as well. Your car will run rich on the ST USA ecu upgrade. No way around it.

Yes I do. And I also suggest you do your exhaust an intake mods before you do your ECU upgrades. So I suggest you do a 3" downpipe to a 2.5" catback with a free flowing muffler like a Magnaflow or any other straight through design muffler. Of course you want both the downpipe and catback to be mandrel bent for the best flow. And with your intake I assume your going to go with the EST kit and or create your own system.

After these are done go with the BSR PPC and or the IPD and or RICA softloader systems. Exspensive but worth the money.

I have an EST intake on my s70 and love it. Great sound and gave some good throttle response as well.

Looking at the one for you seen here.
The heatshield doesn't look as good as the one that came with mine. But I am sure it does ok. It wont shield the filter from all the heat in the engine bay like the OEM airbox does. Neither does my EST heatshield.

It is truly more of a under the hood apperance peice and sound maker. You will hear it sucking in air. Sounds great.
