Default Electric Problems S60

I have a 2001 S60 with a couple electrical issues:

1) I started getting a bulb failure message for the right turn signalwhen using (in addition to the signal lights going double time). I changed out all three bulbs, make sure they worked and still had themessage when using the signal. Next I checked the fuseand looks OK but replaced anyway and still having message.Anybody had this same problem?

2) I tried to use thesunroof andthe switch was not working.Ialso noticed the manuallights next to the sunroofwere not working as well asthe vanity mirror lights. I checked the fuses for both the sunroof and vanity lights and both were fine. Is there some other master fuse or switch that could have gone out that controls all theseaccessories?

Thanks in advance for your help!

1.The front sockets for the turn signals go bad all the time is the socket grey or brown?

2. Lock and unlock the car a couple of times with the key and see if the sunroof starts working.

1. The front turn signal socket is grey. Looking again and comparing the right (problem) front turn signal to the left, the right bulb seams not as bright as the left when signaling. If it is the socket, it this something easy toreplace for the shade tree mechanicor should take to dealer/volvo mechanic?

2. The lock/unlock trick worked! Thanks for the tip!
