On my 2018 v60, I had a neighbor replace the rear brake pads.
SInce then, a periodic message pops up calling for service to the emergency brake. On occasions, there is a bell that rings, and will only stop when the motor is shut down.
There does not seem to be any heat buildup on the wheels so it does not seem that the brakes are sticking....
Is this something that I would be better off getting serviced at the Volvo dealership, or, can the popular corner garage deal with it.
( I would prefer to avoid the exorbitant rates of Volvo dealership if they can.)
