Default Emergency Question!!

So I walk out to my car (2004 2.5T) today after a full day of work, tail lights were blinking, when I pressed the unlock button this high pitched alarm kept going off, over and over, couldn't start my car or anything... So finally the car died completely and the alarm couldn't go off. so my bro brought his car over and gave me a jump, well now the "check engine" light and the display says "engine system check required" is on. What the heck is going on?

Low battery was making it go wacky.
I will bet your siren is bad keeping the alarm going off and thats what killed the battery.

Yup, Dont know how the battery went dead, but the reason things went wacky was because of my juice being gone. Things are good now, emergency lights went off today while driving it to get it fixed... wouldn't you know it....
