I have 01 S60 and I was wondering if anyone had this problem where You will be driving and it seemed likeit was surging. One time my wife said she was driving at about 40 mph and it went all the way down 20 mph then go back to 40.Like it was not getting enough gas. Just pretty much hurky jerky for no reason. [:@]

 

My gut would say engine. If the tranny was to dog the car that much I hardly think the tranny would continue to operate like it should for a long period of time. I would look at the fuel delivery system.

 

Did you have the recall throttle body software download done?
