Default evap purge valve location 2001 T5 2.3

I've scoured these forums for old posts, google, youtube but i can't find where this damn thing is! Any help would be great! i found this diagram but it's not where it says it should be. i've found on other engines from 2001-2009 it's under the intake on left and right sides or attached to radiator but i don't see anything in my car. seems like the 2.3 is different in some ways to the 2.4.

Follow the #18 black plastic evap pipe along the right side of the subframe then across the front - They always seem to terminate near the left upper corner of the fan shroud

ah, ok, i found that one bolted to the radiator but i didn't think that was it because the one i ordered from rock auto was way bigger. the one i have there is labeled PA6-GF30, which looks exactly like this:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/275695131116

rock auto one i have:

https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...t=4936&jsn=410

and then there's this one that has a different wider nozzle on the side:

I'm so confused!

also note what the diagram #13 that Hoonk highlighted which shows the part shape - there's two vacuum lines coming off the valve at right angles that should confirm the find.

ok, now i found one that looks like my part and the one in the diagram #13:

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/vol...saAklAEALw_wcB

weird how there are many different evap purge valves that come up for my vehicle. I'll return that big one and order this small guy, thanks for the help!

yes 2 small vacuum fittings is the 9470775. And your Ebay find has that part # on it.

ah, that makes sense now! good call. i was pulling my hair out with this thing. i am still wondering why there are two different types of these valves showing up for my car. I emailed FCP to see what they say about this. in the meantime I'll take off the hose when i start it up cold to see if mine is busted, thanks again for the help!
