I noticed that the presets for the FM stations don't display the stations' frequencies, just the names of the songs that played when the presets were stored. On the other hand, for AM and Sirius the stations' frequencies for AM and station #'s for Sirius are shown.


The dealer tried uploading some software, but it didn't help.
Is this a bug in the Volvo radio, or do I have a defective radio?

Just a guess but may work.
Disconnect radio power then reconnect. (-ve battery lead)
Re enter the radios security code and then set up all your preferred stations again.
Check you have the correct security code beforehand or you will then have an additional hastle.

 

The Volvo service department downloaded new software that didn't help.
I'd just like to know of other 2014 Volvo owners have the same problem with their FM presets on their new radios?

 

See attached. The AM and Satellite presets show the stations, but the FM presets don't.

 

hmm when i had a loaner S60 i was able to see the Fm frequency. Did you read the owners manual. Maybe there is some tricks that one can do.
