Default 2002 S60 problems with radio presets

Hi,
I'm new to the forum and have a question about my 2002 S60. I have about 20 radio stations set as presets, and as of about a week ago it started jumping from station to station and won't stay on one station, or will change to another station if I hit a bump or pothole or something. I am wondering if anyone knows how to reset the radio computer and reprogram it? This started happening right after I got an oil change at the local BP, so I'm not sure if they reset something when they changed the oil. Please help! Thank you

Default Radio flipping from presets.

I have recently started having the same problem. Has anyone got any idea how to repair this? Thanks. VolvoLar

I have the same problem. But rather than the preset radio stations changing on their own, it's the "mode" settings that will decide to randomly start changing on their own. (CD, AM radio, FM radio, cassette, etc,..)
Battery/charging related? Or is simply worn radio ***** acting up?

I called a dear friend and mechanic in Guelph Ontario. Sauls Auto. He has service my Volvos for many years. I followed his suggestion which was "Take the negative terminal off the battery and leave for a few minutes. Reconnect and see what happens" I did just that and Voila! The transmission works as new and all I have to do is have the odes reset. NOTE! With a car of my year 2002 + - get the transmission flushed, not by a quick lube place but one that will fully flush and refill.

Thanks to all who replied. Merry Christmas and God Bless
