Front end noise when turning left
Hey everyone
I have a 2014 s60 t5. When I turn the wheel left it makes a sound similar to a honk of a horn the noise is constant till i turn the wheel back to the center . The noise only occurs when I'm going above about 15mph.and as stated only when I am turning left.
to give a little bit more detail
This only happens as well when the wheel is turn about 1/4 to the left once past that point it doesn't make the noise. If I am at a stand still and turn it nothing. I have checked the wheel well to see if something was rubbing and there is nothing that could be. I have also checked the power steering fluid and it is full.
anyone else run into something like this?

are you saying the horn honks or just an odd noise? I'd do a quick test by pulling the fuse for the horn just to see if the noise stops. If its the horn then I'd suspect there's a connection issue in the steering wheel hub. Otherwise, I'd be checking axle boots for leaks and listen for clunks etc. Another possible cause is a wheel bearing - when you turn left at speed, the car puts more weight on the right side of the car and that can make the wheel bearing "moan".
