Fuel Consumption on board display

I drive a Volvo S60 2.0T. Only recently the onboard displays shows that my fuel consumption has increased dramatically and goes upto 50 L /100 KM when the car starts to move from stationery. This was never the case as it used to be around 20 L / 100 KM (Max) (light on the pedal). I have just changed the air filter and did not see any significant diff. At high speed the reading seems to be correct. Secondly my ATF is due for a change? Do I need to use the Volvo brand or any other brand? Thirdly, could I use the Bosch Platinum-Iridium Fusion plugs instead of the OEM bearing in mind that my S60 is a soft turbo. Cheers

I'm not really sure what would cause the change in gas mileage... how long as it been going on? any change in fuel used? When last were the plugs changed etc?
Concerning the transmission fluid, see the sticky on the top of this s60 board as it has all the info you will need
Next, I use the Bosch IR-fusion on my s80, nice plugs but in reality not worth the cost.. probably better of with Bosch +4 platinums..
